അബൂ ഗൈത്വലയുടെ അട്ടഹാസം കേട്ട് ഖുറൈശികൾ ഓടിക്കൂടി. അവർ അബൂ ലഹബിനോട് ചോദിച്ചു. എന്താണീ കേൾക്കുന്നത്? അയാൾ പറഞ്ഞു, ഒന്നുമില്ല. ഞാനൊരിക്കലും അബ്ദുൽ മുത്വലിബിന്റെ മതം വിട്ടു പോയിട്ടില്ല. പിന്നെ, എൻ്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ മകനെ ഞാൻ സംരക്ഷിച്ചു എന്ന് മാത്രം. മോൻ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തോട്ടെ. ഖുറൈശികൾ പറഞ്ഞു നല്ലത്. നിങ്ങൾ കുടുംബ ബന്ധം ചേർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അത് എന്തായാലും നല്ല കാര്യം തന്നെ.
കുറച്ചു ദിവസങ്ങൾ അങ്ങനെ കടന്നുപോയി. അബൂലഹബ് കാരണം ഖുറൈശികൾക്ക് മുത്ത്നബിﷺയെ ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാൻ വയ്യാതെയായി. അങ്ങനെ ഉഖ്ബ ബിൻ അബീ മുഐത്വും അബൂജഹലും കുടി അബൂലഹബിനെ സമീപിച്ചു. എന്നിട്ട് ചോദിച്ചു, നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവ് എവിടെയാണെത്തുക എന്നാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്റെ മകൻ പറഞ്ഞത്? അഥവാ അബ്ദുൽ മുത്ത്വലിബ് സ്വർഗത്തിലോ നരകത്തിലോ എന്ന്? അബൂലഹബ് നബിﷺയോട് ചോദിച്ചു, ഓ മുഹമ്മദേﷺ എന്റെ പിതാവ് എവിടെയാണ് എത്തുക? നബിﷺ പറഞ്ഞു, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജനത എത്തുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത്. അബൂ ലഹബ് ഈ മറുപടി അവർക്ക് കൈമാറി. അവർ പറഞ്ഞു, ആ പറഞ്ഞതിന്റെ അർത്ഥം അബ്ദുൽ മുത്വലിബ് നരകത്തിലാണെന്നാണ്. അബൂലഹബ് വീണ്ടും നബിﷺയോട് ചോദിച്ചു. അബ്ദുൽ മുത്വലിബ് നരകത്തിൽ കടക്കുമോ? അല്ലാഹുവിന് പങ്കാളികളെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ആദർശക്കാർ നരകത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കും തീർച്ച. മുത്ത്നബിﷺ പ്രതികരിച്ചു. അവർ നരകത്തിലാണെങ്കിൽ പിന്നെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രതിരോധിക്കുകയില്ല. അബൂലഹബ് പറഞ്ഞൊഴിഞ്ഞു.
ശത്രുക്കൾക്ക് വീണ്ടും ധൈര്യം വർദ്ധിച്ചു. നബിﷺ ക്കെതിരെ ശക്തമായി അവർ രംഗത്ത് വന്നു. അബൂലഹബ്, ഹകമ് ബിൻ അബിൽ ആസ്വ്, ഉഖ്ബത്ബിൻ അബീ മുഐത്വ്, അദിയ്യ് ബിൻ അൽ ഹംറാഅ, ഇബ്നുൽ അസദാഅൽ ഹുദലി എന്നിവർ മുഖ്യശത്രുക്കളായി മുൻനിരയിൽ നിന്നു. അവരിൽ ചിലർ നബിﷺ നിസ്കരിക്കുന്ന നേരത്ത് ആടിന്റെ കുടൽ തിരുദേഹത്തേക്കിട്ടു കൊടുത്തു. ചിലർ അവിടുത്തെ പാത്രത്തിലേക്ക് ആട്ടിൻ കുടലെറിഞ്ഞു. നബിﷺക്ക് സുരക്ഷിതമായി നിസ്കരിക്കാൻ ഹിജ്റ് ഇസ്മാഈലിൽ മറഞ്ഞ് നിൽക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. ഇമാം ബുഖാരിയുടെ ഒരു നിവേദനത്തിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ കാണാം. ഉർവ്വ (റ) പറയുന്നു. ഞാൻ അംറ് ബിൻ അൽആസ്വ്'നോട് ചോദിച്ചു. ഖുറൈശികൾ നബി ﷺ യെ ഏറ്റവും ശക്തമായി പ്രയാസപ്പെടുത്തിയ രംഗം ഒന്ന് പറയാമോ? അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
ഒരിക്കൽ നബിﷺ കഅബയുടെ ഹിജ്റിൽ (ഹിജ്റ് ഇസ്മാഈൽ) നിസ്കരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഉഖ്ബത് ബിൻ അബീമുഐത്വ് എന്നയാൾ അടുത്തേക്ക് വന്നു. മുത്ത് നബിﷺയുടെ കഴുത്തിൽ ഒരു തുണി ചുറ്റി. ശക്തമായി ഇറുക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെട്ട അബൂബക്കർ (റ) ഓടി വന്ന് അയാളെ തടുത്തു. എന്നിട്ട് ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അല്ലാഹുവാണ് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതിന് ഒരു വ്യക്തിയെ നിങ്ങൾ കൊല്ലുകയാണോ? ആ വ്യക്തി ആവശ്യമായ പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.
ഇമാം ത്വബ്റാനി(റ) ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരനുബന്ധം ഇവിടെ ചേർത്തത് കാണാം. നബിﷺ എഴുന്നേറ്റു. നിസ്കാരം നിർവഹിച്ചു. ശേഷം കഅബയുടെ തണലിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഖുറൈശികൾക്ക് നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്ന് കഴുത്തിലേക്ക് ആംഗ്യം കാണിച്ചിട്ട് പറഞ്ഞു. അല്ലയോ ഖുറൈശികളേ അറവുകൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ എന്നെ നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.( ഉപ്പയുടെയും ഇസ്മാഈൽ നബി(അ)യുടെയും ബലിദാന സംഭവമായിരിക്കും ഓർമിപ്പിച്ചത്). ഉടനെ അബുൽ ഹകം പറഞ്ഞു. മുഹമ്മദേ.. ﷺ ജാഹിലായിരുന്നില്ലേ?(തങ്ങളെയാണുദ്ദേശിച്ചത്). അവിടുന്ന് പ്രതികരിച്ചു. നിങ്ങളാണ് ജാഹിലുകളിൽ അഥവാ വിവരശൂന്യരിൽ പെട്ട ആൾ.
അക്കാലത്തെ ഒരനുഭവം അനസ്(റ) ഉദ്ദരിക്കുന്നതിങ്ങനെയാണ്. ഒരു ദിവസം നബിﷺയെ അവർ മർദ്ദിച്ചു. അവിടുന്ന് ബോധം കെട്ടു വീണു. അബൂബക്കർ(റ) ശബ്ദമുയർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് ഏഴുന്നേറ്റു വന്നു. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അല്ലാഹു ആണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതിന് ഒരു വ്യക്തിയെ നിങ്ങൾ കൊല്ലുകയോ? നിങ്ങൾക്കു നാശം..!

Hearing the shout of Abu Ghaitwala, the Quraish ran and asked Abu Lahab. What are we listening to? He said. Nothing. I have never left the religion of Abdul Mutlalib. And I only protected my nephew : let him do what he want .The Quraish said it is good. You have strengthened family ties. That's a good thing anyway.
A few days passed. Because of Abu Lahab, the Quraish were unable harm the Prophet ﷺ. So Uqba bin Abi Muayt and Abu Jahl approached Abu Lahab and asked. What your nephew said about "Where will your father go?" Or Abdul Mutalib in heaven or hell? Abu Lahab asked the Prophet ﷺ. O Muhammad ﷺ where will my father arrive? The Prophet ﷺ said ' the place where his people will arrive'. Abu Lahab conveyed this answer to them. They said. What he said means that Abdul Mutalib is in Hell. Abu Lahab asked the Prophet ﷺ again. Will Abdul Mutalib go to hell? The people who believe in partners with Allah, will surely enter Hell. The Prophet ﷺ responded. If they are in hell, then I will not defend you from the enemies. Abu Lahab said.
The enemies were again emboldened. They came strongly against the Prophet ﷺ. Abu Lahab, Hakam bin Abil Aas, Uqbat bin Abi Mu'itw, Adiy bin Al Hamraa, Ibn Asada al Hudali, stood in the forefront as the main enemies. Some of them put rotten bowels of goat on his body while he was praying. Some put the bowels of goat in to his utensil.He had to hide in Hijr Ismail to pray safely. It can be seen in a narration of Imam Bukhari (R) . Urwa (R) says. I asked Amr bin Al-Aas(R) . Can you tell me the scene where the Quraish inflicted the Prophet ﷺ the most severe hardship? He said. Once the Prophet ﷺ was praying at the Hijr of the holy Ka'aba (Hijr Ismail). A man named Uqbat bin Abi Mu'itw came near.He wrapped a cloth around the neck of the Prophet ﷺ. Seeing this Abu Bakar (R) came running and stopped him and asked, "Are you killing a person for saying, 'My Lord is Allah?'. He has given you the necessary documents.
Imam Tabrani has added an appendix . The Prophet ﷺ got up. After performing the prayer, he turned to the Quraish who were sitting in the shade of the holy Ka'aba.He gestured to his neck and said . I have been appointed not but for slaughter. ( He said this remembering the sacrifice of Ismail (A) and father Abdulla). Soon Abul Hakam said intending the Prophetﷺ "ignorant". Then the Prophetﷺ responded. You are among the jahils or the ignorant.
Anas (R) narrates an experience of that time. One day they beat the Prophet ﷺ. He fell unconscious. Abu Bakar (R) came to him raising his voice. Are you killing a person for saying that Allah is my Lord? Damn you..
